You might look fine on the outside.

But underneath, you're exhausted from carrying everything alone.

The anxiety shows up before you even get out of bed.

Conversations replay. Worst-case scenarios loop. Your brain never fully turns off, even when you desperately want it to.

You're everyone else's support system.

You're dependable, capable, and emotionally available for everyone — except yourself.

You're emotionally exhausted.

Even when life "looks fine," your nervous system never fully relaxes. You're tired in a way sleep doesn't fix.

You've tried therapy before.

Maybe it felt surface-level, repetitive, or like you were just venting without making real progress.

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

About Nicole

You deserve therapy that's actually honest with you.

You’ve been managing it for a while now. The anxiety that shows up before you even get out of bed. The low-grade heaviness that makes ordinary things feel like too much. Or something that happened — that you’ve tried to move past but keeps pulling you back. You’re not falling apart. But you’re tired.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering telehealth therapy across Kentucky. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and trauma — and I work with teens, young adults, and adults who are done just coping and ready to build something that actually holds.

My approach is practical and direct. I use CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing — but I don’t pull out a predetermined protocol and fit you into it. I take time to genuinely understand you, your history, your nervous system, and what your life actually needs to look like on the other side of this work. Then we build something together.

My background in residential treatment taught me how to show up for people in their hardest, most vulnerable moments. Telehealth taught me that genuine connection doesn’t require four walls. I provide a safe, affirming space for all clients — including LGBTQ+ individuals, teens, and those navigating life transitions.

When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me with a good book and an overpriced coffee — usually at the same time.

Areas of focus

What people are usually carrying
when they reach out

Anxiety & Overthinking

Constant mental noise. Overthinking every interaction. Feeling tense even when nothing is technically wrong. Therapy focuses on the patterns underneath — not just coping around them.

CBTACTMindfulness-based

Trauma

Trauma is not only what happened. It’s what your nervous system learned to expect afterward. We work slowly, safely, and without pressure to “perform healing.”

Trauma-informed careCBTACT

Burnout & Exhaustion

Many clients are the dependable person for everyone else — responsible, high-functioning, capable, and quietly depleted underneath. Therapy becomes a place where you no longer have to carry that alone.

ACTValues workMotivational Interviewing

Depression

More than sadness — it’s the numbness, the disconnection, the sense that things that used to matter just don’t anymore. We’ll figure out what’s underneath and build real momentum forward.

Common questions

What you might be wondering

01Do I need a referral to start therapy?

No referral needed. You can reach out directly to schedule a free consultation. If your insurance requires a referral for coverage, I can help clarify that during our consult call.

02What does a telehealth session look like?

Sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. All you need is a private space and a phone, tablet, or computer. Most clients find it just as effective as in-person — and a lot more convenient.

03How long does therapy take?

It depends on what you’re working on. Some people find significant relief in 8–12 sessions; others benefit from longer-term support. We set goals together and check in regularly on how things are progressing.

04Do you work with teens?

Yes. I work with teens, young adults, and adults. For clients under 18, I’ll typically include a brief parent check-in at the start of care to align on goals — while keeping the therapeutic space private for the teen.

05What if I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help?

That’s more common than you might think — and it doesn’t mean therapy can’t work for you. The right fit matters a lot. My style is direct and practical, which works well for people who’ve felt like previous therapy went in circles.

Still have questions? The free consult is exactly the right place to ask them — no commitment, no awkwardness.
